An Inconvenient Chart (SunTV)

October 20, 2012:Watch“The Charles Adler Show”on Sun Media TV across Canada with guest International Climate Science Coalition Executive Director, Tom Harris. “No warming in 16 years—Met office, U.K.(Sun TV).” Here are the main points as quoted from the interview:

  1. “Obviously carbon dioxide from humans is not driving climate change because CO2 has continued to go up, and all the models on which we’re basing our climate policy say that temperature should go up too. So, obviously we don’t understand the system. But we do understand that natural forces must be stronger than our carbon dioxide emissions.”
  1. “We’re basing a lot of our climate policy and our energy policy on something that is probably wrong.”
  1. “Now that they [Canada’s Conservative party] have a majority government; there’s no election nearby; their opposition are generally in disarray, this would be a perfect time for them to give an honest-broker type message: We don’t know the future of climate. We are not climate experts. But we do know that there’s an intense debate about the causes of climate change so we’re going to have an open hearing where we invite in scientists on both sides and let the public hear what’s really going on. That would be a very easy and neutral position for them to take. But instead they’re continuing to push the UNIPCCC.”
