What Do The Palestinians Really Want? (Calgary)

Guest Speaker: Khaled Abu Toameh, Journalist

Palestinian journalist and documentary filmmaker Khaled Abu Toameh will speak from the context of his own experiences in the region, including as an employee of the PLO, his-then growing disenchantment with the corruption and violence within Palestinian society, and the view from his present role as the West Bank and Gaza strip correspondent for the Jerusalem Post and other media outlets. Abu Toameh, an occasional informal adviser to U.S. President Barack Obama will give a rarely heard perspective on the prospects for peace in the Middle East.
