Cellphone Bans Behind the Wheel May Make the Problem Worse (~2min) – July 27, 2012
Legal efforts to curbs the dangers of distracted driving may be having the opposite effect, and making the problem worse. More than half of Canada’s provinces have outlawed the use of handheld cellphones and texting behind the wheel, but evidence from the U.S. indicates that such laws are not working.

Government can definitely help when it comes to providing access to high speed internet in rural areas. More in today’s Frontier Centre commentary. Canada was once a global leader in providing affordable access to high speed internet service, but not anymore. It’s easy to get connected if you live in a city, but a different story if you live in a small town, or on a farm. (~2 min)
